Hey everyone, I'm very sorry for missing last weeks blog post. I wasn't feeling the greatest, but feeling better now, so time to unload 2 weeks of work on here. Currently we're working on a large project for the Hershey Gardens Foundation involving an art concept called Exquisite Corpses. An Exquisite Corpse, is when you have multiple full body images, that can be interchanged with one another when aligned. So we're working on that right now to represent the four seasons and the gardens themselves. Here is my color concept below. When finished, they will be on four 12" tall x 24" wide wooden board, hand-painted with oils.
From what I was told, the client really enjoyed it, but with every successful pitch comes the necessary tweaks to make a strong piece even better. Even if that means going all the way back to the drawing board and fixing anatomical mistakes. So here's what I ended up after my few tweaks, and to be honest I am very happy with the improvements.

- I made her anatomy more loose and fluid. Note the arms, rather than hugging her side are gently raise outward. Along with this, I pushed her foot out more.
- I raised her head and gave her a neck to make her more relaxed
- Adjusted her face a little to soften it and make it more feminine in nature, as the client had problems telling if it was male or female.
- And lastly, I redesigned and added more detail to her dress.
So there we have it. Lots of work done and more to get done before January. Senior year, we're coming for you.
